The Devil's Play Reading
My great Dutch friend, Marcel Zwart, who first invited me to come work in Holland 12 years ago, asked me to present the Devil's Play card as a workshop theme here this time. Exciting! So, I divided the afternoon workshop into two halves: the first part was the "good devil" and the second part was the "bad devil." The bad devil is actually "good" for us because this archetype represents the conditions (growth material) that hold us back and that we must go through to become fully whole.

The Transformation Archetypes Reading
To become DEVIL'S PLAY, the free, authentic, happy, creative, sexy, alive human being, it takes CHANGE. The Major Arcana cards Strength through Tower are the transformative forces that we can call upon within us to live the full, free life we are meant to.
FACE UP TAROT: As you think about these TRANSFORMATION cards, determine in your own mind which is the one for you to take up for any changes you want to make.
FACE DOWN TAROT: Then, shuffle these cards and pick one face down to see what the mysterious unconscious wants you to know.

Thoughts on XIII-Death (Scorpio) By Jim Schultz
In this series of articles, we will be looking at the 12 Major Arcana that correlate with the 12 signs of the zodiac. In future articles, we will also look at some of the astrological characteristics of the signs and planets and how that can provide additional layers of interpretation and understanding to assist us in working with clients.
For this Voyager newsletter, we will look at XIII Death, which is associated with the astrological sign Scorpio. We will also look at XX Time-Space, which is associated with Pluto, the planet which rules Scorpio. XIII Death is about change and transformation. About letting go of what no longer serves us. XX Time-Space is about the cycles of life and karma. Consider also that both time and space seem to be infinite.
